The Deuce Weekly, 9/18 - 9/24/01

Vol III, Iss III
9/18-9/24

And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free... and I won't forget the men who died and gave that right to me, and I proudly stand up (CYMBAL CRASH!!) next to you and defend her still today... cause their ain't no doubt I love this land, God Bless the USA...

This is a genuine tribute, not to sound cheesy... Only in America can four guys be accepted while living in a place they call The Deuce, while hanging out with guys called Wookiee. I love this country. The Deuce salutes America and all of the hard working NYPD and NYFD citizens in New York City.

Bush, Powell, the administration, the volunteers in NYC doing the clean up, the survivors that may still be there, the families of those who didn't survive... and even those in Afghanistan who could've cared less about America until last week, when a government they were completely impartial to possibly bombed the most powerful country in the world. Lots of prayer needed.
