The Deuce Weekly, 3/13 - 3/19/01

Vol I, Issue IV
3/13-3/19

If I Could Be Serious For A Minute:
It’s not the guns faults, its not the kids faults, you can blame Satan, but the blame falls on us. We, as Christians, aren’t doing our job we were sent here to do. If we did as we were commanded, to go tell the nations, the world still wouldn’t be perfect, but it would be closer than it is now.

DRL (deuce request live) Top Five of Everything
5. Stephanie Campbell… her chorus of Steve Camp was simply well done and well timed. And her chicken salad junk was really good too.
4. The Deuce… yes, shameless self promotion, but we had 35 people at the Midnight Breakfast. That’s worth a number four ranking.
3. Lethal Weapon 4… Jet Li rules. I don’t care what you say.
2. Duke University… Did you see the smackdown laid upon the poor Tar Heels of North Carolina? Pretty vicious.
1. Josh Crosby… Tore the kitchen up with me as we served 30 plates of breakfast in an hour. We salute you, Josh!

Coming Up at The Deuce

*March 12th-Tonight is the last night to sign up for Deuce Madness, our NCAA Tournament game. Fifteen guys and a chick have dared to sign up, so email me if you want to play.

*March 17th-Common Ground is holding a babysitting night for the young married couples. I have never been a dad, but I can assure you that when you are a young married, you’ll want someone to take your kids for the night so you can out and do whatever it was that you used to do before you were married. IF you want info on how you can help, email me and I’ll fill you in!

*March 25th-Oscar Night at The Deuce. Come to our little Oscar shindig, pick the winners, the best record for the night takes home movie passes!
